International Partnership Forum “FRIENDS OF UKRAINE”
From May 4 to 6, the international partnership forum “Friends of Ukraine” took place, gathering representatives of local governments and international partners from 10 countries worldwide.
The event aimed to strengthen cooperation between communities, seek new foreign partners, and discuss joint projects for the future. Over the course of three days, forum participants explored ways to develop inter-municipal collaboration, exchanged experiences in local governance, and established horizontal contacts to implement initiatives in infrastructure, security, reconstruction, and education.
During the forum, a number of important cooperation agreements were signed — memorandums between Ukrainian communities and international organizations. These agreements open new opportunities for joint projects in education, infrastructure, healthcare, and the rebuilding of communities affected by the war. The signed documents laid the foundation for sustainable partnerships based on mutual support, experience sharing, and a shared commitment to development.
The “Friends of Ukraine” forum once again proved that Ukrainian communities, despite all challenges, are capable of building effective partnerships and working toward a promising future.
