14 New Memorandums and Community Partnerships: Results of the Ukraine’s Innovative Schools Forum
From June 3 to 5, 2026, Zakarpattia hosted the Ukraine’s Innovative Schools Forum, which brought together representatives of communities, educators, and partners from different regions of Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, the NGO “Friends of Ukraine International Partnership Foundation”, the NGO “Dobrobat”, and the NGO “Association of Innovative Schools of Ukraine”.
During the forum, representatives from 18 regions of Ukraine discussed interregional cooperation, the development of a modern educational environment, and the implementation of innovative approaches. Special attention was given to the role of education as an educational outpost for communities — a space of resilience and support for children, teachers, and local communities in the face of modern challenges.
One of the key events of the forum was the signing of 14 cooperation memorandums between frontline and rear communities within the framework of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities”:

The forum became an important platform for establishing new partnerships, uniting communities, and strengthening cooperation between the regions of Ukraine for joint development and mutual support.
