Ukraine’s Innovative Schools Forum in Zakarpattia: Education, Partnership, and New Opportunities for Communities
From June 3 to 5, 2026, Zakarpattia hosted the Ukraine’s Innovative Schools Forum, which brought together representatives of communities, educators, and partners from different regions of Ukraine to strengthen interregional cooperation and promote modern approaches in education.
The forum was organized by the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, the NGO “Friends of Ukraine International Partnership Foundation”, the NGO “Dobrobat”, and the NGO “Association of Innovative Schools of Ukraine”.
Representatives from 18 regions of Ukraine took part in the event, including Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi regions.
The forum featured panel discussions, professional meetings, and thematic sessions focused on the development of a modern educational environment, teacher support, the implementation of innovative approaches in the learning process, and cooperation between Ukrainian communities. Participants shared practical experience in implementing educational initiatives and discussed current challenges and opportunities for interregional partnership development.
The forum became an important platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and the establishment of new partnerships between communities, educational institutions, and representatives of different regions of Ukraine.
